Itinerary

6:00 – 6:15: The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the rendezvous point in District 1 – Ho Chi Minh City, departing for Tien Giang to start the 2-Day 1-Night Mekong Delta Journey.
Upon arrival in My Tho City, transfer to April 30th Pier, board a Tourist Boat on the Tien River, and experience the vast beauty of the Tien River while admiring the four islet sanctuaries: Long (Dragon), Lan (Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), and Phung (Phoenix). The boat cruises along floating fish farms, allowing you to learn about local aquaculture methods and view the Rach Mieu Cable Bridge.
Arriving at Thoi Son Islet (Con Lan), stroll along village pathways, observe the daily life of islet residents, visit fruit orchards, and discover authentic local culture and lifestyle. Enjoy seasonal tropical fruits while listening to Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern Vietnamese folk music). Next, visit a bee apiary and savor warm honey lemon tea.
Afterward, step into a small hand-rowed sampan to glide through channels fringed by water coconut palms, taking in the tranquil orchard scenery. Transfer back to the larger motorboat to continue along the Tien River. The boat carries you to Ben Tre Province to visit a traditional coconut candy workshop – a hallmark specialty of Ben Tre – and a rice paper making facility in Tan Thạch Commune.
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride along the countryside lanes of Tan Thạch Commune, admiring fruit orchards and the peaceful life of the coconut realm.

Noon:
Enjoy lunch at a local garden-style restaurant, featuring regional specialties such as crispy deep-fried elephant ear fish wrapped in rice paper, crispy puffed glutinous rice balls, coconut-steamed prawns, fried chicken,…

Afternoon:
Return to My Tho by motorized boat. The bus meets the group to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – one of the largest and most ancient Buddhist temples in the Mekong Delta.
Afterward, depart for Can Tho, check in to your hotel, and relax.

Evening:
Enjoy dinner aboard the Can Tho Cruise Restaurant, enjoying live music performances while admiring views of the Hau River by night. After the cruise docks, enjoy free time to explore Can Tho City at night. Overnight stay at the hotel.

5:00: The tour guide accompanies you to Can Tho Pier to board a boat and visit Cai Rang Floating Market in the early morning. Here, observe and learn about the unique lifestyle of the river region, where hundreds of boats and ships trade goods and regional specialties. You can shop and interact with local Western Vietnamese merchants.
Afterwards, return to the hotel, check out of your room, and enjoy breakfast.
The group proceeds to Co Bac Ferry Terminal. A local passenger boat transfers the group to Con Son Islet.
Visit rambutan, pomelo, or milk apple (star apple) orchards depending on the season. Discover the famous "flying snakehead fish" trick performed by Hau River farmers.
Throughout the journey exploring the people and land of Con Son Islet, visit fruit orchards and savor local seasonal specialty fruits such as milk apple, guava, pomelo,…
Be welcomed by hospitable Con Son residents with a refreshing specialty herbal tea brewed from breadfruit (sa ke) leaves and Polyscias fruticosa (dinh lang) grown in home gardens.

Noon:
Enjoy lunch at Con Son Community Tourism Village featuring authentic, rustic local specialties.

Afternoon:
13:00 – 13:30: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City. En route, stop to visit The Purple House Film Studio (Can Nha Mau Tim) – featuring its signature purple color scheme and numerous decorative backdrops for check-in photos (expenses at your own expense).
18:30 – 19:00: Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City, where the vehicle drops you off at the original pickup point. End of the 2-Day Mekong Delta Tour.
