Itinerary

6:40 – 6:45: Gather at the designated pickup location in District 1 to begin the 1-Day Mekong Delta Tour (Saigon – My Tho).
10:00: Arrive in My Tho, board a motorized boat (approx. 20 minutes) to reach the first sightseeing spot – Unicorn Islet (Con Lan / Thoi Son Islet).
At Unicorn Islet, visit a Bee Apiary & Honey Workshop, savor honey tea paired with fruit jams. Afterwards, the tour guide leads the group on a stroll around the village to explore the local riverine lifestyle of the Mekong Delta.
Enjoy fresh tropical fruits while listening to Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern Vietnamese folk music), a signature cultural heritage of the Mekong Delta region.
Continuing the trip, board a small hand-rowed sampan boat (approx. 15-minute row) gliding along lush green canals shaded by water coconut palms. The sampan returns you to the motorized boat.
Proceed to visit a local coconut candy workshop. The boat cruises along canal banks flanked by fruit orchards. Step inside to observe the traditional step-by-step coconut candy making process.
Noon: Take a horse-drawn carriage or Lambro vehicle to a local restaurant for lunch, featuring regional specialties such as deep-fried elephant ear fish wrapped in rice paper with tamarind fish sauce, crispy puffed glutinous rice balls, fried chicken, steamed vegetables with caramelised pork dip (kho quet), coconut-steamed prawns, and jute soup crab hotpot,…
Afternoon: After resting and enjoying lunch, continue the itinerary with a visit to a fruit orchard (seasonal fruits).
Return to My Tho by motorized boat. The vehicle meets the group for a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda – one of the largest and most ancient Buddhist pagodas in the Mekong Delta.
